Dell To Provide PeopleSoft And Hyperion Hosting And Support to The Carlyle Group
Dell Services today announced it has signed a five-year contract with global alternative asset manager The Carlyle Group to provide hosting and support for Oracle® PeopleSoft Enterprise and Hyperion Performance Management applications. Dell Services support will enable The Carlyle Group to maximize the benefits and value of PeopleSoft and Hyperion solutions, including strategy consulting, applications services, infrastructure support services and business process solutions.
Utilizing its global delivery experience, Dell Services will offer technical support, application maintenance and integration services for The Carlyle Group’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation. As a single partner for both hardware and services, Dell Services will offer a fully-integrated end-to-end solution that includes hardware, data center hosting, IT service management, and PeopleSoft and Hyperion applications management.
As an Oracle platinum partner, the highest partner relationship recognized by Oracle, Dell Services will provide managed hosting services backed by its global team of professionals experienced in delivering PeopleSoft and Hyperion applications solutions.
Utilizing open standards-based technology that optimizes flexibility and scalability, and configuration options that mitigate risk, Dell Services will offer cost-effective solutions that address the company’s evolving business needs. In collaboration with The Carlyle Group’s implementation team, Dell Services will incorporate infrastructure and application software within Dell Services’ data centers, and also will build, test and manage disaster recovery environments. Dell Services will provide around-the-clock service desk support and use best-in-class monitoring tools to constantly assess The Carlyle Group’s IT environment.
