Gartner rates Oracle n°1 Application Server

Oracle continues to lead the application server market in market share and performance according to industry analysts and third party benchmarks.

Oracle WebLogic: The Market Share Leader

Gartner’s latest worldwide application server market share report* finds Oracle with a 42% market share. Also of note in the report:

  • Oracle holds more market share than its three closest competitors
  • Oracle’s share of sales grew 49% from 2008 to 2009 for Oracle compared to 3% growth for next highest vendor
