Intel Atom Powers Google Chromebooks

Today Google announced Chromebook devices from Samsung and Acer, powered by dual-core IntelAtom processors, and running the Chrome open source operating system.

Google claims Chromebooks to boot in 8 seconds and resume instantly, allowing websites to load quickly and run smoothly, with full support for the latest web standards such as Adobe Flash

Chromebooks should have a long lasting battery, so-called “All-day” ensuring you won’t miss anyhting during your traveling
Built-in Wi-Fi and 3G allows wireless network surfing; special bundles differing between broadband operators are to come.
