Intel Gets an A in Green

Once again, Intel appeared in the top 5 of NEWSWEEK’s Green Rankings of the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the U.S. With an environmental impact score of 95.74, Intel was recognized for reducing waste, finding suitable alternatives for toxic materials, making products – including the Intel Core and Atom chips – more energy efficient, tying employee compensation to environmental goals and purchasing green power.
