Nokia’s bitter awakening

September 13, 2010 by | Comments

Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo and Anssi Vanjoki quitting are the proof Nokia has been failing lately in the smartphone arena.

Many times we have asked ourselves how could the Finnish giant let other competitors (Apple, Sony and Samsung just to name a few) allow such an easy rescue, and we couldn’t believe Nokia’s lackness of palpable and appreciable response.

They didn’t realize that stronger CPUs, touchscreens, larger displays and Android was the way to go; they have kept following a conservative and traditional marketing strategy, and (we’re sorry to say) they have failed.

We hope this bitter awakening will “electric-shock” Nokia, possibly putting a reverse on the latest negative trend.
