Print as you travel with Google Cloud Print

You may know that you can connect your printer with the Google Cloud enjoying sendinf documents to your printer from anywhere in the world, computer or smart phone, you name it.

Today Google Announced that the beta version of Google Cloud Print for mobile documents and Gmail for mobile, has been launched.

Picture yourself while printing an important document from your smartphone in your favorite pub and finding the printout waiting for you when you walk in again. Open Google Docs or an email in Gmail in your mobile browser and simply “Print” from the dropdown menu. Some kinds of email attachments (such as .pdf or .doc) are supported too.

Available from tomorrow for English speaking users in the US and will work on most phones that support HTML5, such as devices running Android 2.1+ and iOS 3+. Don’t forget to connect your printer to Google Cloud Print, before starting.

At the moment, only Windows PC are supported, however Linux and Mac support are on the road.
