Seagate Invites You at CES 2011

Consumers, fans, press, bloggers, industry analysts and members of the financial community are invited from Seagate to follow activities at the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show,taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada, January 6–9, 2011. The company will be showcasing its full breadth of consumer, desktop and enterprise solutions as well as actively contributing photos, video, news, blogs and updates to its online media center located here.

During the show, Seagate will further detail its involvement with the Serial ATA International Organization ( SATA–IO ), the industry consortium dedicated to sustaining the quality, integrity and dissemination of Serial ATA (SATA™), to develop new development standards for portable storage applications; the partnership ecosystem its building to introduce a new era of how people consume external storage; and new product additions to its FreeAgent GoFlex family of portable and desktop external hard drives.

Additionally, the company’s GoFlex™ storage family, the GoFlex™ TV HD media player, and its Momentus® XT solid state hybrid drive—which were each named Honorees of the International CES Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering Awards—will be displayed at the Innovations Design and Engineering Showcase in the Grand Lobby of the Las Vegas Convention Center and featured at CES Unveiled: The Official Press Event of the International CES on Tuesday, January 4.

Seagate will also be showcasing and demoing its full line of FreeAgent GoFlex products and Seagate BlackArmor® small business solutions at the Pepcom Digital Experience media event taking place at Caesar’s Palace on Wednesday, January 5th, from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
